Insurance quotes in Québec

Are you paying too much for your insurance?

A few questions, one call. One insurance specialist goes over your policy with you and gets you a real quote — one specialist, not five companies.

What kind of insurance are you looking for?

Pick your type, the specialist does the rest.

How it works

Nothing to prepare. The specialist helps you find everything during the call.

You answer a few questions.

Your type of insurance, your postal code and how to reach you. That’s it. Assurenet uses them only to match you with the right specialist, not to calculate a price. The rest is optional: it’s for the specialist, not for us.

A specialist calls you tomorrow morning.

Not a call centre. Not five companies each taking a turn calling you. One specialist, a certified representative who knows your type of insurance, gets your request and gives you a call. Nothing to prepare in the meantime.

They go over your policy with you.

During the call, you go through your coverage, the discounts that could apply and what you pay today. Then they get you a real quote.

You finally know if you’re paying too much.

Compare the quote with what you pay today. If switching is worth it, the specialist walks you through the next steps. If not, you keep your insurance, and at least you have peace of mind.

So what does it actually look like?

Typical situations, not real clients.

Auto · Montréal

The same car premium for years, never once questioned. The specialist reviews it, checks the discounts that could apply, and gets you a real quote.

Home · Québec City

A condo bought in a hurry, home insurance sorted between two signatures. The specialist looks at what your policy really covers, what’s missing, and what you might be paying for nothing.

Life · Sherbrooke

First baby, first house, and one question in your head: if I’m not around, will my family be okay? The specialist explains term and permanent, without pushing.

These scenarios are illustrative: typical situations, not real clients. A quote is not a contract. The final premium depends on the insurer’s underwriting and the information you provide; if there is any discrepancy, the insurance contract prevails.

Why Assurenet?

What the specialist does for you

They do the analysis and the advising, not Assurenet.

Assurenet matches you on your type of insurance and your postal code. Nothing else.

Nothing to prepare

No digging up your policy or your numbers. The specialist helps you find everything during the call.

Free, no obligation

It costs you nothing, and nobody pushes you to switch. You look at the quote, you compare, you decide.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked most often.

Is it free? How does Assurenet make money?

Yes, it’s free for you: answering the questions, getting the call and receiving your quote costs you nothing, and nothing obliges you to buy. Assurenet is paid by the specialist’s firm: a fixed amount for the introduction, whether or not you buy. Other representatives and firms can offer comparable products.

Is Assurenet a broker or an insurer?

Neither. Assurenet doesn’t sell insurance and doesn’t give advice. We connect you with one specialist: a certified representative, attached to a partner insurance firm, chosen for your type of insurance and your area. They’re the one who goes over your policy, advises you and gets you a quote.

Who calls me, and how many times?

One specialist, the one for your type of insurance. They call you tomorrow morning, introduce themselves with their name, title and firm, and go over your policy with you. One call, not a string of follow-ups from five different companies. If a second call is useful, the two of you decide together.

Is my information shared?

Your contact details serve one purpose: putting you in touch with the specialist we match you with. They go to their firm, not to five companies, and we don’t sell them. You can ask to see, correct or delete them, or withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to us. It’s all spelled out in our privacy policy.

I already have insurance. Is it worth shopping around?

Yes, especially a month or two before your renewal, while you still have time to compare. The specialist reviews your coverage, checks the discounts that could apply and gets you a real quote. You compare it with what you pay today. If switching isn’t worth it, you don’t switch, and you have peace of mind.

What happens after the quote?

You decide, and you’re never obliged to buy. If the quote is worth it, the specialist walks you through how switching works, including possible cancellation fees mid-term. If not, you keep your insurance: until you decide something, nothing changes in your policy. No pressure.

Is the specialist certified?

Yes. The specialist is a certified representative, attached to a partner insurance firm, who works mainly in your type of insurance. Assurenet doesn’t sell insurance or give advice: we only make the introduction.

Which types of insurance are covered?

Auto, home (house, condo, tenant), life (term or permanent), business (self-employed, shop, small business), motorcycle, RV, snowmobile, ATV, boat and travel. All of Québec, by phone. Something else? Pick the closest type and tell the specialist during the call.
